Live with integrity. Design with heart. Stay forever curious.
Feather + Beam: where beauty meets function in perfect harmony. The feather embodies intricacy and delicateness, capturing the essence of lightweight elegance and symbolizing the concepts of flight and thermal protection, all while exuding sublime beauty. The beam symbolizes and acts as a pillar of architectural form, integrity, and strength, representing the robust framework that supports a home and ensures longevity. Together, these elements reflect my desire to create spaces that are not only visually striking and inviting but also fundamentally practical—designing homes that merge artistry and engineering to elevate the human experience and nurture the soul. Much like a nest, a home should embody warmth, security, and comfort, fostering a sense of belonging and sanctuary.
Sabina Fiore
I’ve been passionate about architecture and residential design since childhood, always studying architecture and home magazines. Paying attention to the details, re-imagining spaces, and sketching out floor plans; that’s what I did for fun!
My design career began in 1999 at Vandervort Architects, a respected Seattle firm known for its thoughtful, high-quality, place-responsive custom single-family homes. While working my way through school there, I graduated from the University of Washington in 2003 with a BA in Design & Planning (Architectural Studies). During my time at UW, I also had the great opportunity to study architecture abroad in Rome—an experience that deepened my longstanding love for European architecture, timeless design, and historic craftsmanship. Since graduating, I have spent much of my career at Weber Thompson, a prominent Seattle firm known for its innovative designs.
Now based in Gig Harbor, I draw endless inspiration from the Pacific Northwest’s dramatic coastlines, evergreen forests, and shifting skies. This influences my work—framing views, blending indoors with nature, and creating environments in harmony with their surroundings.
I embrace styles from modern and mid-century to farmhouse, and I work closely with clients to incorporate their aesthetic desires—creating authentic, layered, deeply personal spaces.
My studio name, Feather + Beam, reflects my lifelong love for birds—their delicate beauty and quiet wonder—paired with a nod to the honest strength of architectural structure that anchors a home.
Outside of work, you’ll find me actively serving at my church, in Bible study, or caring for my chickens—simple joys that keep me grounded and remind me of the importance of nurturing people and places with care and intention.
I bring that same care and intention to every project. I’d love to partner with you to create a home that feels truly yours.

Driven by passion
I’m not chasing trends—I’m drawn to what lasts. Whether it’s layering in vintage details, framing a Pacific Northwest view, or crafting a home that feels like it’s always belonged there, my goal is simple: to bring your vision to life with creativity, care, and a thoughtful eye for what makes a space feel truly yours. Every project is a chance to listen, collaborate, and create something meaningful together. I see my clients as true partners and my work as a craft worth doing right.
